Australians planning a trip or relocation to Bali are currently hindered by a fragmented and unreliable information landscape, lacking a single, authoritative source to guide them through the complex process. This forces travelers to spend significant time manually gathering and verifying critical details, resulting in logistical anxiety and uncertainty around necessary documentation (such as visas and permits), which increases the risk of travel hassles and prevents users from confidently enjoying a smooth experience.

Bali Presto solves this challenge by introducing a dedicated AI chat agent that serves as a personalized travel and document assistant, instantly generating personalized itineraries and providing clear guidance on all necessary logistics. This core feature eliminates information gaps and saves significant planning time. Furthermore, the platform is designed to promote authentic and sustainable Bali tourism by directly integrating and featuring local service providers, including drivers and tour guides, ensuring users gain unique experiences while supporting the Balinese community.
The client's objective was to create the definitive "Booking.com for Bali," a platform that directly addressed the profound logistical anxiety and fragmented information travelers faced when planning holidays or corporate retreats. The vision was to leverage AI not just for search, but for seamless, end-to-end booking and critical document assurance..

I served as the UX/UI Designer, fully owning the system that translated this vision into an elegant mobile solution. The strategy focused on three key deliverables:
Conversational AI Interface: I crafted the intuitive AI chat experience as the primary mode of interaction, allowing users to generate complex, multi-day itineraries using natural language.
Dynamic Itinerary Structures & Assurance: The system was designed to instantly synthesize AI output into clear, bookable plans. Crucially, I ensured the flow acted as a trustworthy document assistant, guiding users through necessary visa requirements and travel essentials, thereby solving the critical information gap.
Local Integration: The design prioritized authenticity by integrating UI pathways that directly featured and booked services from local Balinese drivers, tour guides, and unique experiences, ensuring tourism revenue supports the local economy.
